What are the effects of climate change on cities? Will rising temperatures create demand for cooling that, in turn, leads to emissions and exacerbates urban heat island effects? PUAF 689M Decision Modeling

Students from the University of Maryland participated in a collaborative course with German students from the Technical University of Berlin. In addition to traditional coursework in Berlin, the joint group participated in excursions to Jänschwalde power plant, Wendefurth and Rappbode dams, and Wienrode water treatment plant. More.
